Q: What products are available aside from season tickets?

A: This year, in addition to season tickets, fans have the opportunity to purchase 9 Packs which give them access to any nine matches which are included in the season ticket package (a choice of any nine MLS regular season and Amway Canadian Championship home matches). Students can also purchase Student Season Tickets which gives them access to a Student Section at BC Place for all MLS regular season and Amway Canadian Championship home matches.

Q: Has pricing gone up over 2012 prices?

A: The average price has gone down from 2012 Season Tickets from an average of $676.12 to $675.15.

Q: What benefits do season ticket holders receive over single ticket buyers?

A: Season ticket holders receive significant savings over individual match tickets, the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for playoffs and friendlies which include securing your current seats plus additional seats, pre-sale opportunities for select concerts at BC Place, discounts on Whitecaps FC merchandise, and a dedicated account manager to assist with all your ticketing needs. Season ticket holders also have the opportunity to participate in the club’s loyalty program which will be launched in the coming months prior to the start of the 2013 season.

Q: How many tickets are included in my season ticket package?

A: Season ticket holders will receive tickets to all regular season MLS and Amway Canadian Championship home matches.

Q: Will CONCACAF champions league and friendlies be included in my 2013 season ticket package?

A: Whitecaps FC season tickets will include all regular season MLS and Amway Canadian Championship home matches. Season ticket holders will receive the first right of refusal to purchase their own seats plus extra tickets for all additional Whitecaps FC home matches including international friendlies, playoffs, and CONCACAF champions league matches.

Q: If I purchase a 9 Pack do I get the same seat at each match?

A: 9 Pack purchasers are not guaranteed the same seat at each match, but all 9 Pack tickets will be in the same category.

Q: When can I select the matches I attend?

A: 9 Pack tickets can be selected once the MLS and Amway Canadian Championship match schedules are confirmed. Match selection is subject to availability.

Q: If I purchase a 9 Pack, do I need to book all my tickets at the same time or can I do it throughout the season?

A: 9 Pack purchasers have one opportunity to select the nine matches they will attend. 9 Pack purchasers will be notified when schedules are confirmed and when tickets can be reserved.

Q: What benefits do 9 Pack purchasers receive over single match buyers?

A: 9 Pack purchasers will receive significant savings of 12% to 19% (dependent on category) over single match buyers. 9 Pack purchaser will also receive pre-sale opportunities (after season ticket holders) for pre-season matches, playoffs, friendlies, and other events at BC Place.

Q: Are 9 Packs available for suites?

A: 9 Packs are not available for suites.

Q: Why are 9 Packs not available in Green and Pitchside Club sections?

A: 9 Packs are not available in Green and Pitchside Club sections due to the limited inventory available.

Student Season Ticket

Q: What section is the Student Season Ticket in?

A: The Student Season Ticket seating is in the White section at BC Place.

Q: What type of identification needs to be provided to purchase the Student Season Ticket?

A: Valid student ID must be presented in order to purchase the Student Season Ticket. If the student ID does not include a photo, a second piece of valid photo ID must also be presented.

Q: Are Student Season Tickets transferable?

A: Student Season Tickets are non-transferable.

Q: How will you ensure that the Student Season Ticket is not transferred to non-students?

A: Students must present valid student ID at each match which will help ensure tickets are not transferred to non-students. Student ID must include a photo. If the student ID does not include a photo, a second piece of valid photo ID must also be presented.

Q: Can I purchase more than one Student Season Ticket?

A: Each student can puchase one Student Season Ticket.

Q: Why is the Student Season Ticket $199?

A: The Student Season Ticket is $199 which offers a 65% savings for students over single match tickets. The ticket does not offer the benefits associated with Season Tickets. The Student Season Ticket is non-transferable, offers no merchandise discounts, or pre-sale opportunities.

Q: How many Student Season Tickets are available?

A: A limited number of Student Season Tickets are available. Students are encouraged to act quickly to ensure they are not left disappointed.

Q: Who is eligible to purchase the Student Season Ticket?

A: The Student Season Ticket is designed for Lower Mainland university and college students with a valid student ID.

Q: How can I purchase a Student Season Ticket?

Q: How can I pay for my tickets?

A: The club accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. If you wish to pay by Interac, in cash, or by cheque, please contact your Whitecaps FC Account Representative for more details.

Q: Is the club planning to host a friendly in 2013?

A: The club will evaluate all opportunities and will look to host a friendly if the right opportunity presents itself.

Q: What is the loyalty program?

A: The loyalty program is currently being developed and will be announced prior to the start of the 2013 season.

Q: What is the Pitchside Club?

A: The Pitchside Club, formerly Loge, provides fans with sightlines that are second to none. Pitchside Club seats are where the true soccer fan wants to be. Located on the pitch, Pitchside Club ticket holders use the Club Seat entrance and have access to an exclusive pitchside lounge.
