Playoffs: FAQs for Single Match Playoff Tickets

Q:  When do playoff tickets go on-sale?

A:  Single match playoff tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, October 20 at 9 a.m. PT.

Q:  When are the potential postseason matches?

A:  Should Whitecaps FC qualify for the MLS postseason, they will secure the fifth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, and play in a one-match ‘Wild Card’ game away to the fourth-place finisher in the Western Conference standings on Wednesday, October 31 or Thursday, November 1. If the ’Caps are successful in that match, Vancouver will have the potential of hosting both the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinal series on Sunday, November 4 or Monday, November 5, and the first leg of the Western Conference Championship series on Saturday, November 10 or Sunday, November 11.

Q:  What is the cost of single match playoff tickets?

A:  Green, teal and aqua seating will see a $5 increase per round (e.g. green - $20 current single match price to $25 for the Western Conference Semifinal and $30 for the Western Conference Championship). For yellow, ticket prices will increase to $7 per round, while premium seating (blue, purple, club, and loge) will increase to $10 per round. All tickets are subject to applicable fees.

Q:  How can fans purchase single match playoff tickets?

A:  As of 9 a.m. PT on October 20, single match playoff tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, online at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps, or Charge-by-Phone at 1.855.6.GO-CAPS (1.855.646.2277).
