Edmonton media invade LA

LOS ANGELES, CA - Nearly a dozen media members from Edmonton traveled 2200 km to Los Angeles this weekend to gain a sense of what to expect on Tuesday, May 13, when the USL-1 side Vancouver Whitecaps host MLS club LA Galaxy - featuring David Beckham and Landon Donovan - at Commonwealth Stadium.

The four-day, three-night trip included a Galaxy training session at The Home Depot Center, the SuperClasico match between the Galaxy and Chivas USA, and an exclusive media conference with Galaxy's president and general Manager Alexi Lalas, head coach Ruud Gullit and midfielder David Beckham, as well as Whitecaps president Bob Lenarduzzi.
