 YMCA Healthy Kids Day
May 31, 200810:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Langara Family YMCA, 282 West 49th Avenue YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a community event sponsored by the Langara Family YMCA in partnership with community organizations and sponsors to promote healthy living for children, youth and families. There are over 60 participating organizations providing an interactive display and activities focusing on various children, youth and family health and wellness issues. In addition, the event will include a number of interactive and recreational activities as a means to get children and youth active. Activities include, inflatable play centres, pony rides and sports activities. Food, healthy snacks and beverages are provided to all participants, exhibitors and volunteers at no cost.
