Day 5

Day #5,
Today was our day off in between games with Chivas and Frankfurt. It has been sunny all week, temperatures into the late 20's, but not today. We were hit with flash floods and thunderstorms, so most of our day was spent inside. After an hour stretch and recovery session with our trainer Al, we headed out to lunch at a nearby restaurant. Assistant coach Steve and team manager Joe then organized a trip to the mall to get some shopping done for any interested players. The majority of the boys took advantage of the opportunity and spent some money.
The guys are all feeling good, a couple knocks here and there, but nothing that will keep anyone off the field. Tomorrow we have Frankfurt, hopefully we can take advantage of our experience against German teams and get a result.
