Young-Pyo Lee welcomed by Premier Christy Clark
Today, new Whitecaps FC player Young-Pyo Lee was welcomed to Vancouver by BC Premier Christy Clark at Coquitlam’s H Mart grocery store. The former South Korean World Cup star drew a lineup that spanned around the store, with adoring fans coming to see the legend and have soccer balls, cards, jerseys, scarves and shirts signed.
It was an impressive turnout from the Korean community, especially on short notice. Carl Valentine was on hand to witness the pandemonium and chat with some of our future season ticket holders!
