Fourteen-year-old Arthur is being recognized for his champion attributes of kindness, courage and perseverance. He is an outstanding role model for younger Hope and Health participants, and has been described by his coaches as “...having a huge heart, [that is] always open to learning, and going above and beyond."

Arthur showed his commitment to celebrating his heritage during Hope and Health H3 program’s closing ceremony last season, transitioning from dancer to soccer player for the session – and showcasing how Indigenous cultural traditions can be honoured through sport. The future is bright with young people like Arthur leading the way.
