Deylen Vellios

PROFILE

A defender/midfielder from Burnaby, BC, Deylen Vellios previously played with Mountain United FC in the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League before joining Whitecaps FC Residency in August 2016.

DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY 

2017-2018: Vellios played 22 times and started in eight of those matches for Whitecaps FC U-17 last year, picking up two yellow cards. He also featured in all three playoffs matches in the 2017-2018 post-season. 

INTERNATIONAL 

Vellios was 13 years old when he made his debut for the Canadian youth program at an identification camp in 2016 under coach Ante Jazic.  In 2017 he participated in a identification camp in Burnaby under coach Rob Gale.
