Career Summary

PROFILE
A gritty defensive midfielder, Seymore was signed to Whitecaps FC 2 in July 2015, then was re-signed in December 2016. He was drafted in the third round (56th overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas. 

UNITED SOCCER LEAGUE
2017:
Seymore made 13 starts in 24 appearances in 2017, recording one assist in their Week 3 win versus Seattle Sounders FC 2. 2016: Seymore made 18 starts in 23 regular season appearances in his first full season with Whitecaps FC 2, tallying two assists. He also featured in both of WFC2's playoff wins, starting in the Western Conference Semifinal win versus Oklahoma City Energy FC. He sat out the Western Conference Final loss to Swope Park Rangers due to injury. 2015: Seymore joined Whitecaps FC 2 midway through the year, making nine consecutive starts to close out the season. The Colorado Springs native made his WFC2 debut as a substitute versus Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on July 15, before starting in the rest of his appearances, seeing time at both holding midfielder and centre back positions.

UNIVERSITY
The Soham, England native was a four-year starter at Oregon State University. At OSU, Seymore started in all of his 73 appearances, tallying seven goals and four assists for the Beavers. As a senior, he was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team and the All-Far West Region Second Team as he helped the Corvallis, Oregon-based side reach the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014.

USL PREMIER DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE
In between his college seasons, Seymore played three years with Portland Timbers U-23 in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), making 24 appearances from 2012 to 2014 and scoring one goal. As a member of the Timbers, Seymore played with Whitecaps FC striker Erik Hurtado, as well as former WFC2 centre back Craig Nitti and current goalkeeper Spencer Richey. In 2014, Seymore also laced up against Whitecaps FC midfielder Russell Teibert in the inaugural Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game as part of MLS All-Star Week.

AMATEUR/YOUTH
In his youth, the English-American played four years for the Soham Town Rangers, winning the Cambridgeshire League Championship in 2009.

INTERNATIONAL
On the international level, the 6-foot centre back was invited to the England U-18 schoolboys trials.

Seymore was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado but spent much of his childhood in the United Kingdom.
