Spirit of the Skate Fundraising Reception
In support of the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, Vancouver Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi and other local celebrities donated their time and creative abilities to construct unique pieces of art on ice skates.
Lenarduzzi created an Italian soccer boot motif on his skates, which will be part of a silent auction at the Spirit of the Skate fundraising reception this Thursday, January 10. The fundraiser will take place at the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Hero in You education programs that motivate children to find the champions within themselves. The lessons act as a springboard for students to find a passion in life and to reach for their individual goals.
