Vancouver Whitecaps FC, in conjunction with GolTV and Major League Soccer’s Toronto FC, announce that the Nutrilite Canadian Championship match featuring the Whitecaps and Toronto FC on Wednesday, July 9, will be broadcast live on GolTV.
In addition, CBC Sports will provide live broadband coverage of the match exclusively at cbcsports.ca and TEAM 1040 Sports Radio will broadcast live radio commentary.
The match, scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. PT at Swangard Stadium, will be the Whitecaps final game of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship and the second of a home-and-home set between the two clubs. The Whitecaps captured the first match against Toronto FC in a thrilling 1-0 victory at BMO Field on Canada Day, handing Toronto their first loss of the season on home turf and the Whitecaps first win of the competition.

Overall, Vancouver’s record in the three-team CONCACAF Champions League qualifying tournament is 1-2-0. Toronto’s record 1-1-0 while the USL-1 Montreal Impact sit on top of the standings with a mark of 2-1-0. The final match of the tournament will feature the Impact versus Toronto FC at BMO Field on Tuesday, July 22.
