PoCo council backs Vancouver's plan to lure soccer franchise - The Now

Port Coquitlam council passed a motion Monday supporting Vancouver's efforts to acquire a Major League Soccer franchise. Coun. Greg Moore, who introduced the motion, identified soccer as Port Coquitlam's top sport by participation and applauded efforts to bring another top-tier team to the Lower Mainland.
