"This was a great opportunity to partner with Wendy’s and the Lower Island Soccer Association (LISA) on bringing the Whitecaps to Victoria ," said Whitecaps director of youth Dan Lenarduzzi. "On behalf of Wendy's and the Whitecaps, I want to thank our partners LISA for hosting the Whitecaps and making the event such a success."

On Sunday, the Whitecaps held a Wendy’s free Community clinic for over 170 registered boys and girls aged U-8 to U-11 on the new Alex Campbell Field at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence in Victoria.

Whitecaps men’s team members Ethan Gage and Simon Thomas, as well as Whitecaps Residency stars Alex Semenets and Osmo Bimba, joined Whitecaps women's players Jaclyn Sawicki and Alicia Tesan to work with the boys and girls in the clinic and take part in an autograph session. It was a special day for 'Caps goalkeeper Thomas, who was raised and played his youth soccer in Victoria.

On Sunday afternoon, Whitecaps head coaches Bart Choufour, Jesse Symons and David Broadhurst led a Prospects camp for boys and girls from the Lower Mainland region. "This was a great opportunity for the Whitecaps head coaching staff to work with our young developing players and also collaborate with some of our staff," said LISA executive director Sharon Marejka.
