Vancouver Whitecaps striker
Marcus Haber
and defender/midfielder
Lyle Martin
have both been named in the USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 14.

The pair earned spots in the league's weekly all-star XI following their performances in last Thursday's 4-0 home win over Minnesota Thunder.

Haber earned his second 'Team of the Week' accolade after claiming a goal and an assist in the four-goal win over the Thunder. The striker was also in the USL-1's weekly line-up back in Week Two. Martin made the Week 14 side after striking the match-winning goal in the first half versus Minnesota.

Haber was one of three strikers to be selected this week. Carolina RailHawks forward Sallieu Bundu and Austin Aztex marksman Gifton Noel-Williams were the other strikers to earn a spot in the side.

Martin, meanwhile, was one of four midfielders to be selected, with Minnesota's Ricardo Sanchez earning the Player of the Week award for Week 14 after his performance in last Saturday's 3-0 home win over Montreal Impact. Miami FC Blues man Leo Inacio Nunes and Portland Timbers' Johan Claesson were also selected in midfield.

Puerto Rico Islanders' Cristian Arrieta, Rochester Rhinos' Kenney Bertz, and Carolina's Caleb Norkus were the defenders to be chosen this week, while Cleveland City Stars captain Hunter Gilstrap was selected at the team's goalkeeper.
