Vancouver Whitecaps FC announce that the July 25th United Soccer Leagues First Division (USL-1) home match versus Puerto Rico Islanders will be re-broadcast on Shaw Cable this Saturday afternoon.
Whitecaps fans can tune in to Shaw Cable on Saturday, August 8, at 4 p.m. PDT to see an edited two-hour edition of Vancouver's 4-2 win over Puerto Rico at Swangard Stadium.
Because of severe thunderstorms that took place in and around Swangard during the July 25th match, many fans missed the opportunity to see the remainder of the game following a delay of over two hours.
With the circumstances of the delay beyond the control of the club and match officials on July 25, Shaw Cable have agreed to show the match in its entirety this Saturday afternoon.
