Now winless in three - 24 Hours

By BOB MACKIN The Vancouver Whitecaps dropped to 7-9-4 when they lost 2-1 Friday to the Charleston Battery at Swangard Stadium in United Soccer Leagues' First Division play. The sixth-place Whitecaps gave up two first half goals to Darren Spicer and Randi Patterson. Captain Martin Nash spoiled Battery goalkeeper Dusty Hudock's shutout bid in the 80th minute.
