Okanagan Whitecaps win u21 double

The Okanagan Whitecaps FC completed the double, winning the U21 PCSL Championship along with the league title in 2009.

In the Men’s U21 Championship final in Kelowna, the Okanagan Whitecaps edged Coquitlam Metro Ford 3-2, with Enzo Paal scoring the winner on a last-minute goal off a corner kick. Dan Hunt added two goals and was named the game MVP.

The Okanagan Whitecaps also edged out Coquitlam by a point to finish first in the PCSL Reserve Men’s division with a 7-1-2 record.

“I’m really pleased for the team and staff on the development strides we’ve made in this our first year in the league” says Whitecaps FC head coach David Broadhurst. “We look forward to building on this success for next year.”
