With two games played in the 2010 edition of the three-club competition,
Montreal Impact
go in search of points when they host Voyageurs Cup holders
Toronto FC
at Stade Saputo on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. PT. With one point from their first two matches, the Impact need to take maximum points against the Major League Soccer outfit, while victory for TFC in Quebec will put them in a strong position to defend the title they won last year on goal difference. The Reds lead currently the
tournament standings
on three points after claiming a
2-0 home win
over Montreal on April 28.

After
drawing
their tournament opener versus the Impact last week, Vancouver Whitecaps FC will watch Wednesday's game with keen interest. Teitur Thordarson's side have three matches remaining in the competition, starting with next week's big encounter versus Toronto FC at Swangard Stadium on Wednesday, May 19. The Whitecaps will then wrap up their Canadian Championship campaign on the road in Montreal (Wednesday, May 26) and Toronto (Wednesday, June 2).

The winner of the 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship will not only claim the Voyageurs Cup as tournament winners, they will also claim Canada's lone spot in the 2010-11 edition of the
CONCACAF Champions League
. The 24-club competition, which involves the top clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, qualifies the confederation's representative for the annual
