Soccer fans throughout the province of British Columbia will be able to see all Vancouver Whitecaps FC home playoff matches live on Shaw TV, Cable 4. Having aired nine Whitecaps FC regular season matches in 2010, Shaw TV will offer 'Caps fans - who are unable to attend the home matches - an opportunity to follow the club, as they look to capture their third championship title in five seasons.
Whitecaps FC kick off their 2010 USSF D-2 Pro League playoffs at home on Thursday night versus Portland Timbers at 7:30 p.m. PT.
All the home playoff matches will be available on Shaw TV throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island in Victoria, Nanaimo, and Duncan, as well as Whistler, Kamloops, and Prince George.
The games will also be available across Canada on Shaw Direct - satellite channel 299

The second leg of this first-round playoff series will take place in Portland, Oregon, on Thanksgiving Sunday, October 10, at 6 p.m. PT. With the Timbers' home of PGE Park currently undergoing renovations, Portland will host Vancouver at Merlo Field on the campus of the University of Portland.
