The sixth-seeded Impact will go into their second-leg match-up in Austin, Texas, with a two-goal advantage over the third-seeded Aztex, while second-seeded Carolina will return to Cary, North Carolina, on even ground with seventh-seeded Minnesota. Austin will try to repeat or better the result of their first match of the season when they defeated Montreal at home 2-0 on April 11. Minnesota will like their chances at WakeMed Soccer Park, as they came away with a 1-0 win at the RailHawks' home back on April 16.
The USSF D-2 Pro League playoffs will continue on Thursday night, with Rochester Rhinos facing Puerto Rico Islanders in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, at 5:05 p.m. PT, while

and
Vancouver Whitecaps FC
renew their rivalry at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, British Columbia, at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The playoffs consist of a two-match, aggregate goals series in the first round, semifinals, and finals. Away goals will not be considered a tiebreaker in the series. If teams are tied on aggregate goals after the conclusion of the second leg, they will play two 15-minute extra-time periods. Penalty kicks will follow extra time, if the teams have not broken the deadlock.
