Fans clamouring for a Whitecaps scarf needn't wait any longer. Two Kia vehicles - a silver Rondo and a dark blue Sportage - will be touring Metro Vancouver and giving out scarves along their routes. Updates on their route will be posted throughout the day to the Whitecaps twitter (http://www.twitter.com/whitecapsfc) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/whitecapsfc) accounts.
In addition, a silver Kia Forte5 will be parked in front of Granville Skytrain Station (on Granville St.) between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The vehicle will be completely stuffed with scarves. Fans can come down to the car to have a closer look and we will also post pictures of it on Twitter and Facebook. Fans can then guess the number of scarves in the vehicle, with the person who comes closest (without going over) winning a pair of 2011 season tickets. To register your guess you can:
1. Tweet your guess with the hashtag #ScarvesInKia
2. Post your guess on the Whitecaps Facebook wall
3. Email your guess to contest@whitecapsfc.com
