Where to watch, listen, and gather for Saturday's away match in Philadelphia

Whitecaps FC fans and scarf

After all the excitement of last Saturday's MLS debut at Empire Field, Vancouver Whitecaps FC fans will be making plans around the club's first away match in the league on Saturday afternoon, as the Blue and White gear up to visit Eastern Conference club Philadelphia Union.

With Teitur Thordarson's side having travelled to The City of Brotherly Love on Thursday, most 'Caps fans will be looking for the nearest television screen to see all the action of the 1 p.m. PT kickoff from PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, on Sportsnet ONE.

In addition to the coverage on Sportsnet ONE on Saturday, live coverage of Vancouver's first-ever MLS away match is available on Bell mobile devices, as well as TEAM 1410 radio and teamradio.ca, starting with the pre-game show at 11 a.m. PT. TEAM 1410 will also have a two-hour post-game show, which will begin following the match at around 3 p.m. PT.

If you are looking for a venue that allows you to cheer on Whitecaps FC with fellow supporters, then look no further than Doolin's Irish Pub on the corner of Nelson and Granville in downtown Vancouver. Members of The Vancouver Southsiders will be on hand to add to what is sure to be a festive venue for the weekend game versus the Union.

Though the team is many miles away, 'Caps fans have every chance to be just as passionate this Saturday, as they were at Empire last Saturday.
