The match can be seen live on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific and East, beginning at 5 p.m. PT. 'Caps fans can also listen to the first leg live on TEAM 1410 radio and teamradio.ca.

Entering their fourth Nutrilite Canadian Championship tournament, this is the first season that Whitecaps FC will play for the Voyageurs Cup as a Major League Soccer club. As a North American second division outfit, the 'Caps finished third in the inaugural competition in 2008 before claiming the runners-up spot in both the 2009 and 2010 tournaments.

For 2011, the Nutrilite Canadian Championship has been modified after NASL club FC Edmonton became the fourth team to enter Canada's professional club championship this year. While second-seeded Vancouver and third-seeded Montreal will contest one semifinal in a two-match series, top seed Toronto FC and fourth-ranked FC Edmonton will square off in the other semifinal series on April 27 and May 4. The semifinal winners will then contest a two-match final series, with the highest-seeded team in the final earning the right to determine whether they open the series at home or on the road. The first leg takes place on Wednesday, May 18, while the second leg is set for Wednesday, May 25.

The winner of this year's Nutrilite Canadian Championship not only claims the Voyageurs Cup title, but Canada's lone spot in the 2011-12 edition of the CONCACAF Champions League. The 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League winner will then advance to represent CONCACAF at the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup.

Vancouver's semifinal, second leg, versus Montreal can also be seen live on Rogers Sportsnet ONE on May 4, starting at 8 p.m. PT. 'Caps fans can also listen to the second leg live on TEAM 1410 radio and teamradio.ca.
