Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that individual match tickets for the New York Red Bulls game on May 28 and the Philadelphia Union match on June 18 on Bell Pitch at Empire Field will go on sale this Saturday, May 14, at 10 a.m. PT. Individual match tickets range from $20 to $55 (including HST), plus applicable service charges and fees, and are available at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, online at ticketmaster.ca, or Charge-by-Phone at 1.855.6.GO-CAPS (1.855.646.2277).

"Both New York and Philadelphia are quality sides that will prove to be another challenge for our players and great experience for our fans," said Whitecaps FC chief executive officer Paul Barber. "The New York match is the headliner for our 'I (HEART) NY' match pack, which is also currently on sale and includes three other MLS matches, as well as the Manchester City friendly on July 18."

Set for a 4 p.m. PT kickoff, the Saturday, May 28, match will see the Blue and White host a Red Bulls squad that features some of the most prominent players in Major League Soccer. Headlining the list is former French international Thierry Henry, who won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2000 UEFA European Championship titles with his country, as well as the UEFA Champions League title with Spanish giants FC Barcelona. Mexican international captain Rafael Márquez and Canadian international and MLS All-Star Dwayne De Rosario also make up a very strong New York side. The Red Bulls currently sit in first place in the MLS Eastern Conference standings with a record of 4W-1L-3D.

Following a three-match road trip, which will include matches against Chivas USA, Real Salt Lake, and Seattle Sounders FC, Whitecaps FC return home to battle Eastern Conference club Philadelphia Union (4W-2L-2D) at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 18. The Union are led up front by Guatemala’s all-time international goalscorer and former MLS Most Valuable Player Carlos Ruiz, French striker Sebastien Le Toux, as well as team captain Faryd Mondragón.

In addition to individual match tickets, Whitecaps FC fans also have the option of purchasing three exciting new match packs. Starting at just $159, the match pack options - GOING HOLLYWOOD, I (HEART) NY, LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR? - all include the Manchester City FC friendly match, valued at $60, and four coveted MLS matches. Aside from season tickets, which also include the Manchester City game, match packs are currently the only way to secure a ticket to the July 18 international friendly.
