Finally, one more feature on ‘Caps striker Long Tan. Marc Weber writes, “It was just the fifth appearance of the season for Tan, the 23-year old from Dalian, China. But the former youth international has been quietly impressing in practice and in the MLS reserve league, where he has three goals and an assist in seven games” (Marc Weber – The Province).

With the Canadian men’s 2014 CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers starting this Friday at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario, Canada needs to win their group in order to advance to the next round. Get all the info you need to help follow and cheer the ‘red and white’ into Brazil 2014 (Canadian Soccer).

The 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying tournament will be held at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, BC, from January 19 to 29, 2012. Tournament packages will go on sale September 9, 2011, with affordable prices featuring an average ticket price of just under $6.50 per match across 15 matches in eight days of world class soccer” (whitecapsfc.com).
