As the Canadian men’s national soccer team prepares for their opening match in round two of the 2014 CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers against St. Lucia, Whitecaps FC continue to improve prospects for the upcoming future. (Martin MacMahon – MLSsoccer.com)


Among the players to come through the 'Caps Residency program is midfielder Philippe Davies, who has gotten valuable minutes in the PDL and with the reserve team, and now continues to work hard towards to get his first action in MLS. “Phil is still very young and it takes [young players] time to get there," Soehn said.
