Camp Appreciation Day presented by Bell, saw 3 campers from each summer camp, and a guest attend the August 27 match between Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Houston Dynamo. Campers were invited to participate in pre-match activities which included an autograph signing session with members of Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Spike, hot dogs and drinks and the chance to practice their shot at the Bell kicking cage which is part of Bell's Score the First Goal contest (http://scorethefirstgoal.bell.ca/). Before the match, participants were also able to view the warm-up for Vancouver Whitecaps FC from the pitch, before watching the match which ended as a 1-0 victory for Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
