Starting on Saturday, September 10 at 12 p.m. PT, Whitecaps FC fans will have the opportunity to purchase individual match tickets for the four 2011 Major League Soccer regular season home matches on Bell Pitch downtown at BC Place. Whitecaps FC first kick at the new stadium will take place on Sunday, October 2 versus rivals Portland Timbers.
“Whitecaps FC are looking forward to playing on Bell Pitch downtown at BC Place in less than one month,” said Paul Barber, Whitecaps FC chief executive officer. “This exceptional venue, in the heart of downtown Vancouver, will offer a great environment for fans to enjoy our home matches. The opening match will provide a unique opportunity to not only see the much anticipated match versus our MLS expansion and Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers, but also to experience our new home for the first time this season”.
The final five Whitecaps FC home matches of the club’s inaugural MLS season include the last game at Bell Pitch at Empire Field on Saturday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT against I-5 rivals Seattle Sounders FC, followed by the opening match on Bell Pitch downtown versus Portland Timbers on Sunday, October 2 at 1:30 p.m. PT. The regular season home schedule wraps up with the rescheduled Real Salt Lake match on Thursday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. PT, a Wednesday, October 12 match versus D.C. United at 7 p.m. PT, and the last match of the regular season on Saturday, October 22 at 4 p.m. PT versus Colorado Rapids.
Ticket prices remain consistent with those at Bell Pitch at Empire Field.

Season tickets for 2012, which can be upgraded to include the final four 2011 regular season matches on Bell Pitch downtown are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Whitecaps FC office at 604.669.9283.
