On Friday, September 16, the BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) unveiled a memorial in honour of the late Terry Fox outside BC Place in downtown Vancouver. With Whitecaps FC playing their first match on Bell Pitch downtown at BC Place this Sunday afternoon, whitecapsfc.com attended the unveiling ceremony for ‘Terry Fox Plaza’ and a moving tribute to the legendary humanitarian, who raised money and awareness for cancer research with his ‘Marathon of Hope’ across Canada back in 1980.
