For Vancouver Whitecaps FC, November 11 is not just a day to remember those that fought for our freedom years ago, but it is also a day to show gratitude of the sacrifices from those that still fight for our freedom today.
“The rest of us are the beneficiaries of the sacrifices of each of the Canadian soldiers in some way and that is what we need to remember,” said Bob Lenarduzzi, Whitecaps FC president.
