Vancouver Whitecaps FC have made a real effort to raise funds to fight prostate cancer this week, reaching a total of $2,028 (up $1400 from last week). That push has put the ‘Caps just ahead of their supporters, who still have a strong showing of their own at $1,824 raised so far (up $800 from last week). The results place each team second and third respectively in the entirety of Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Movember fundraising efforts, just behind the official MLS team.
To start the third week of Movember, Carl Valentine and Zac Ratcliffe went out to get updates from some of our top supporters in Adam Chatburn and Arne Salvesen. Salvesen has raised $225 thus far and Chatburn is right behind him with $175 raised.
