Vancouver Whitecaps FC started their spring cleaning process five months early this year.
There were a lot of leftovers from last season’s temporary stadium in terms of banners, vinyl scrim from seat covers, and metal riggings. However, instead of taking load to the city dump, Whitecaps FC decided to go a different route by using a local recycling company called debrand – along with volunteers from the Southsiders supporter group – to help dispense around 4,000 lbs. of waste.
