WHITECAPS FC IN THE NEWS:

Whitecaps FC made some moves ahead of the start of the Major League Soccer (MLS) Re-Entry Draft today, re-signing goalkeeper Joe Cannon and midfielder John Thorrington. "Joe and John are experienced MLS players that bring leadership, both on and off the pitch," said Whitecaps FC head coach Martin Rennie. "Both players enjoyed strong second halves of last season and we are excited to have them back for year two."  (The Canadian Press – tsn.ca)

WHITECAPS FC ON THE RADIO:

‘Whitecaps FC Daily’ with Peter Schaad on TEAM 1410 sports radio is on a winter break until the New Year, but for those of you who may have missed some episodes, you can find them HERE!


The show will return on January 23, 2012, and air every Monday to Friday at 3 p.m. PT on TEAM 1410.

You can always get your soccer fix every Sunday night from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. PT by tuning into ‘Full-Time: Vancouver’s Soccer Show’ with Tyler Green and Mike Martignago on TEAM 1040.
