With the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying tournament just days away, former Canadian captain Andrea Neil was today inducted into the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame. It was another well-deserved honour for one of the all-time great soccer players in this country. (Terry Bell - The Province)
Our Canadian women's team were unveiled at a press conference on Monday. The players have made it clear that redemption from their World Cup defeat is the furthest thing from their minds. Instead, qualifying for London 2012 has become this teams’ only priority.
