'Caps first training session at Disney

KISSIMMEE, FL - Whitecaps FC kicked off the fifth week of their seven-week Major League Soccer preseason today on the Hess Sports Fields at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. During the club's two-week stay in the Sunshine State, head coach Martin Rennie's side will focus on tactics and team chemistry, as they build towards First Kick 2012 against Canadian rivals and MLS expansion club Montreal Impact at BC Place on Saturday, March 10.

Today's session saw the team split into four groups: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and strikers. The keepers initially worked together with goalkeeper coach Marius Rovde, then joined in with the other three groups. Assistant coaches Jake DeClute and Carl Robinson worked with the defenders and midfielders respectively, while Rennie and assistant Paul Ritchie spent the majority of their time with the strikers.
