Vancouver took on Edmonton in more than just the Amway Championship semifinal match last week. Dozens of Whitecaps FC supporters who made the trek to Alberta played a match of their own. Members of the Southsiders and Curva Collective joined forces to take on the FC Edmonton supporters at Clarke Field. The Vancouver supporters got off to a good start up 4-1 but found themselves trailing 5-4 at the half. Whitecaps FC supporters came out firing in the second half putting 7 into the back of the net and prevailed for an 11-7 victory.
