Prepare the catwalk…Vancouver Whitecaps FC are launching their first Major League Soccer (MLS) third kit this coming Thursday, June 14 – just in time for Father’s Day! Watch the unveiling live on Thursday, starting at 11 a.m. PT on whitecapsfc.com.
“We’re very excited to add a third uniform this season,” said John Furlong, Whitecaps FC executive chair. “This is a great milestone for the club. We’re very pleased with the new design and we hope that everyone else likes them as much as we do.”
The new kit will be worn for the first time this Saturday, June 16, when the ‘Caps play host to Western Conference rivals Colorado Rapids. The third kit is one item in a new line of specially designed apparel, including scarves, hoodies, t-shirts and hats. All items go on sale Thursday, starting at 12 p.m. PT at a merchandise kiosk set up on Terry Fox Plaza, and will remain available at the kiosk from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily through June 24 and in-stadium at Whitecaps FC home matches.
