With today marking the halfway point of their Major League Soccer season, Vancouver Whitecaps FC currently sit in third place in the Western Conference with 29 points following a 1-0 victory over Colorado Rapids yesterday evening. The ‘Caps play three more games on the road before returning home for the highly anticipated match versus LA Galaxy on Wednesday, July 18, at 7 p.m. PT. Just 800 tickets remain for this match at BC Place.

Just four days after the Galaxy match, the ‘Caps will play host to first-place rivals San Jose Earthquakes in an important Western Conference showdown on July 22. A win would help the ‘Caps claim the season series against San Jose, after their previous meeting ended in victory thanks to a dramatic last-second winning goal from striker Eric Hassli.
