MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends and fines Whitecaps FC midfielder Barry Robson

NEW YORK – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Barry Robson one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for aggravated dissent against an assistant referee in stoppage time of Vancouver's 2-0 loss to FC Dallas on Wednesday, August 15.

Robson will serve his suspension this afternoon when Whitecaps FC take on Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field at 1 p.m. PT - ­ TV: TSN2, RADIO: TEAM 1410 ­ teamradio.ca, ONLINE: live.mlssoccer.com, MOBILE:bell.ca/mobiletv.

Fines collected will be donated to the charitable partners of MLS W.O.R.K.S. and the MLS Players Union.
