Sask Academy

Whitecaps FC are marking the launch of their Saskatchewan Academy Centre and associate membership with Saskatoon Youth Soccer with a free coaches day workshop this coming Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at the SaskTel Soccer Center and Centennial Collegiate in Saskatoon.

“This coaches day is a great opportunity for us to give back to the Saskatchewan community as we launch our Spring Academy programs,” said Whitecaps FC Saskatchewan regional head coach Bryce Chapman.

Coaches for all age groups and levels will get a chance to hear from Whitecaps FC head of high performance Stuart Neely and Chapman on the Whitecaps Way coaching and training philosophy, as well as on-field demonstrations.

Registration is free, but you must register on-line at whitecapsfc.com/sask.

Whitecaps FC also recently launched the club's Spring Prospects Academy and Skills Academy this past weekend with a visit from Whitecaps FC Pre-Residency head coach Bart Choufour. Two boys teams at the U-10 and U-12 ages have been selected to train as Whitecaps FC Prospects, while the Skills academy programs for boys and girls U-7 to U-14 are now under way. There is still time to register for the Skills program by visiting whitecapsfc.com/sask or contact Bryce Chapman at bchapman@whitecapsfc.com or 306.230.1313.
