Whitecaps FC is proud to have Bobby Samra represent the ‘Caps in the league-wide MLS WORKS Community MVP contest. Bobby has the opportunity to win $10,000 which will be donated to the charity of his choice and a trip to the MLS All-Star match in Kansas City. Voting begins today and ends on July 12th. Straight out of high school, Bobby started coaching soccer to inner city youth, providing them a place to go where they would be valued. He has now coached for over twenty-five years to players of all ages. Through every team, Bobby has instilled the culture of “team” and acceptance and has seen success at every level.
Whitecaps FC supporters are some of the most passionate and supportive throughout Major League Soccer and we are now looking for your help. The ‘Caps and Bobby are working together to spread the word and encourage votes in support of Bobby in the 2013 MLS WORKS Community MVP contest.
We know of no one more deserving than Bobby for this award. He has inspired and changed countless lives using soccer and continues to do so through his actions.
