Less than 1,000 tickets remain for Saturday's match

Fans hands in the air

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that less than 1,000 tickets remain for Saturday’s clash versus Philadelphia Union. Kickoff at BC Place is set for 4 p.m. PT – TV: Sportsnet Pacific, RADIO: TEAM 1410, teamradio.caMOBILE:bell.ca/mobiletv.

While the weather in Vancouver has been on a hot streak with 29 straight days of sunshine, the ‘Caps have been equally hot at BC Place as the only remaining undefeated team (7W-0L-3D) at home in Major League Soccer (MLS). Vancouver again look to defend their home turf when they host their Eastern Conference foes from Philadelphia in a battle of two of the top attacking teams in the league.

Saturday is also South Asian Night at BC Place, including a performance by Van City Bhangra at ‘Caps Kickoff on Terry Fox Plaza prior to the match and a workshop to demonstrate their moves to fans following their performance.

Following Saturday's match, Whitecaps FC head down the I-5 to take on Pacific Northwest rivals Portland Timbers next Saturday, August 3, at JELD-WEN Field. No less than 750 Whitecaps FC fans will make the trip to cheer on the ‘Caps in a crucial Cascadia Cup match.

Vancouver then return home on Saturday, August 10, to take on San Jose Earthquakes in a battle of Western Conference playoff contenders.
