EA 360 Virtual Experience

To capture the living world of world-class football, the FIFA 14 development team immersed themselves in a Vancouver Whitecaps FC match at BC Place Stadium. From the locker room preparations, to a perfect strike, to the post-game salute, EA SPORTS followed every step with their 360 degree cameras to collect a reference of the living world of football and all its pageantry.

In an effort to bring fans even closer to the game, this 360 virtual experience shows a Whitecaps FC match from a unique perspective. Users get to control the virtual environment with the click of a mouse and familiarize themselves with BC Place from all angles. It allows fans to experience a view from the pitch and mimic what the players see and hear from our loyal supporters. EA SPORTS 360 gives Whitecaps FC fans an exclusive look into the locker room before a match and the emotion of a post-game salute.

The experience was developed by the EA SPORTS FIFA team for E3, the signature event for the global video game industry in Los Angeles. Almost 50,000 people were in attendance this year.
