Vancouver Whitecaps FC are inviting boys and girls U-8 to U-12 to Fantasy Match Camps on two Whitecaps FC match dates: August 10 when the ‘Caps take on San Jose Earthquakes and August 24 when the ‘Caps host LA Galaxy.
This is the first time the ‘Caps are offering this fantasy experience where participating youth have the opportunity to train right on the BC Place pitch, meet players, and tour BC Place including the ‘Caps locker room. Fantasy Match Camps present youth with a chance to develop their skills and experience the atmosphere of a Whitecaps FC match, all in one day. Also included in this camp is pitch-side viewing of pre-match warm up and tickets to the match for the youth and the accompanying parent/guardian.
“This is the first year we are holding Fantasy Match Camps and we are so excited to present this special opportunity to our up and coming soccer stars,” said Dan Lenarduzzi, director of Soccer Development. “We wanted this to be a fantasy experience for youth. Whitecaps FC look forward to welcoming our first participants this summer for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.”
Each registrant will receive a Whitecaps FC Fantasy Camps t-shirt, an EA SPORTS video game, and lunch at BC Place. Parents are invited to watch all events with lunch included for them as well.
