Striker Kenny Miller will continue right knee rehabilitation in Scotland

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed today that striker Kenny Miller will continue his rehab protocol in his native Scotland.

Miller underwent a successful procedure to correct a right knee patellar tendinopathy on October 28. The procedure was performed by world renowned specialist Dr. Hakan Alfredson in London, England.

The native of Edinburgh, Scotland, is now following  Dr. Alfredson's rehab protocol under the supervision of his former club, Rangers FC.

Despite battling patellar tendinopathy throughout most of the 2013 MLS season, Miller started 19 of his 21 appearances while scoring eight goals and recording one assist. Since coming to Vancouver midway through the 2012 season, the 5-foot-10 striker has started 27 of his 34 appearances, netting 10 goals and two assists.
