Bob Lenarduzzi and son Ryan participate in 'Sleep Out' to support homeless youth (with video)

Sleep Out 2013

VANCOUVER, BC – It was a chilly evening Thursday for Vancouver Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi and his son Ryan, as they spent the night sleeping on the street in support of Covenant House Vancouver. This was their second Sleep Out to raise money and awareness around homelessness.

With only a piece of cardboard and a sleeping bag in hand, Bob and Ryan braved the cold in solidarity with the youth that may face many more cold and lonely evenings on the streets of Vancouver.

Sleep Out: Executive Edition brought together executives, leaders, and public figures around Vancouver and collectively they have raised over $330,000 for Covenant House with donations still coming in. If you would like to support Covenant House, you can visit Bob and Ryan’s sponsorship page here
