Vancouver Whitecaps FC, along with our partner Purolator, would like to thank our amazing fans for their support with Purolator Tackle Hunger at our match against Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, May 24.
Many non-perishable food donations were brought to the match, and as a result Purolator donated 6,450 pounds of food to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society, surpassing the amount donated in 2013! The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society greatly appreciates the support from the community for this worthy cause, and always has plenty of opportunities for the public to give back.
