PLAYOFF UPDATE

Whitecaps FC (7W-5L-12D) currently sit in the fifth and final playoff position in the Western Conference, two points ahead of the sixth place Timbers (7W-7L-10D). 


CASCADIA CUP UPDATE

The August 30 match could see Whitecaps FC (CC: 2W-0L-1D) playing for the right to retain their Cascadia Cup title – a trophy created by the supporters groups of Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders FC, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC to crown the best team in the Pacific Northwest. Should Portland (CC: 0W-2L-1D) win or draw at home versus Seattle (CC: 1W-1L-2D) this coming Sunday, August 24, Vancouver will be able to claim the Cascadia Cup with a win against the Timbers at home on August 30.
