 History.

That's what six Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency players will look to help Canada's U-17 national team achieve in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

This coming Saturday, February 28, Canada will play Haiti in their first match at the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championships. The goal at the tournament will be to qualify the U-17 national team to a third consecutive berth at the FIFA   U-17 World Cup, a feat that has never been achieved for the Great White North.

“We know with the qualifying procedure how difficult it will be with games every third day with the heat,” said head coach Sean Fleming. “And we know the quality of the opponents. It’s a very tough group compared to the other group, in my opinion, and it’s going to be five very good quality games."
Canada Soccer will have live match tweets

and will bring you post match reports and reactions from Honduras. You can also watch post-match highlights from
