This is what happens when you beat the champs.

Kekuta Manneh, Russell Teibert and head coach Carl Robinson were named to the MLS Team of the Week on Monday after a dominant 2-0 win over LA Galaxy.

Here’s what MLSsoccer.com had to say about each of them.

Teibert: “Set his team's tempo and played a main role in locking down Robbie Keane. Anyone still wondering if he's best-suited for a role in deep midfield?” More on Teibert’s performance here.

Manneh: “Sliced, diced, scored, and took more shots than the entire LA team. His potential remains enormous.” And how about that celebration?

Robinson: “The Welshman has his team on a four-game winning streak and has shown willingness to rely on young players to produce.”

Whitecaps FC captain Pedro Morales, who picked up another assist on Saturday, also made the bench.

This is the fourth straight week at least one member of Whitecaps FC has been named to the Team of the Week. The red-hot ‘Caps, who are now top of the table in MLS, return to action on Wednesday night against Columbus Crew. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT at BC Place and tickets are still available.
